 canal+ - french TV company, hosts the show Les Revenants

ownership-  Canal + is a French premium television channel launched in 1984. It is 100% owned by the Canal + Group, which in turn is owned by Vivendi.

conglomeration-   its subsidiaries consist of StudioCanal, Canal, OCS (33%), Canal 8, Canal Star, Canal News, M7 Group. it also has many other channels suchs as canal+ sport, Canal+ cinema and canal+ HD.

notable releases-   the straight storyLe caiman, Le cousin, Spotless, Les revenants, Versailles, the tunnel the bureau, Baron noir, inland empire.

ideology-  Unencrypted programming can be viewed free of charge on Canal+ and on satellite on Canal+ Clair (Clear). The channel does not broadcast advertising, except when broadcasting on free-to-air slots. Almost all foreign films and series are broadcast in their original language with French subtitles on a secondary audio channel and dubbed in French or in French. All the programs of the group's channels are subtitled in French for the deaf and hard of hearing and the visually impaired also have access audio description for some programs. 

horizontal/ vertical intergration-   Canal+ has acquired 4 organizations. Their most recent acquisition was Kino Swiat on Nov 5, 2019. the companies are AlternaTV, ROK advertising, M7 group SA and kino swiat. 

funding- by audience, they pay for subscribtions. Privately owned company

Ethos- like to remain french to keep their individuality. 50% of films in the cinma has to be french

exports-  like to promote a strong frecnh identity
